Description
The flu comes around every year, but it's something we should take seriously. About 36-thousand people in the U.S. die each year from influenza and about 200-thousand people are hospitalized. This show will answer some of the most common questions about the flu and find out how to protect ourselves. Dr. Harold Standiford, is the medical director of infection control at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Standiford is also a professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
