Description
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases (IMM) Through its focus on the cause of human diseases at the cellular and molecular levels using DNA and protein technologies to clarify disease mechanisms, the IMM endeavors to design methods of rational therapy. Wherever possible, strategies for the prevention of human diseases in the following areas: cardiovascular disease, cell signaling, human genetics, protein chemistry, vascular biology, immunology and autoimmune diseases.
