Description
The CDC estimates that at least 50% of sexually active people will get HPV. But what exactly is HPV, how do you get it, and what can happen if left untreated? In the most serious cases, it can lead to cervical cancer in women. The exciting news is, there is a new vaccine available for HPV. To learn about who can get the vaccine and what it will protect you from, join David Granet, M.D., along with expert Cheryl Saenz, M.D. of the Moores Cancer Center at UCSD. Together they will answer your questions in this eye-opening episode. Additional resources can be found at: http://www.thegcf.org/ and www.wcn.org.
