Description

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, HCM is the leading cause of sudden cardiac arrest in young people including young athletes. HCM affects 1 in 500 people however few know they have it. The symptoms can include, shortness of breath, palpitations, chest pain, chest pain/discomfort, lightheadedness, passing out or nearly passing out and fatigue.
