Description
Over 900000 heart stent surgeries are performed in the US every year. While it can save lives, Dr. Jon LaPook reports that this procedure is very expensive and sometimes unnecessary. Stents have a role in the treatment of heart disease but definitely have their place and role in treating cardiovascular disease.
